vodafone or ee broadband

My sky broadband deal is finally coming to an end, had nothing but problems so looking to switch, for the price vodafone superfast 2 or ee fibre look the best, 4 of us in the house, with usage of fifa on the ps4, downloading films and general internet surfing the main uses. Anyone got either of these 2 and recommend any? We are not overly technical just need a decent wifi that doesn't drop out to often an hets good connection round the house. Tried to read reviews online but almost every review for every broadband provider seems to say they are all shit. Ta.

WiFi and broadband are two very different t things.
Of all the providers, BT give you the best router - but you’re better off with your own one. I have a Netgear Orbi setup now and have complete coverage everywhere

Then you should just be able to swap providers.
Sky'll whinge and go on about changing e-mail addresses causing problems/costing money but I think Ofcom are on that scam at the moment.
Yeah, they can whinge all they like but I don't even get a full signal in the same room as the box so no way staying, just want a decent company that can get me a good reception round the house.

Get yourself a business broadband line - much more reliable and usually the same price as a residential one

I have been with Sky and Talk Talk and the service from BT blows them both out of the water, paticulalry Talk Talk which was beyond bad. In nearly 2 years, I have only had one issue which was sorted very quickly and easily.
They are the priciest but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Just phone up your preferred new supplier and ask. They may actually do all the work for you.

I dont know, thats way to technical for me, we have sky fibre broadband if that helps.

Can you get fibre to the home (FTTH)? if so, that's your best option as the only contention (fight for bandwidth) will be with others sharing the fibre back to the switch/exchange building.
A "fibre wireless modem" also helps as it takes the fibre in at one end and whacks out WiFi for you to use at the other.
Basically, the further the end of the fibre from where you are, the more chance of signal degradation (buffering/latency).
My last apartment had a direct fibre connection/fibre modem and no matter how much I tried to download it coped with ease.
I've "only" got ADSL at my current drum, but it's fast enough for me.
